WELCOME
Pilsvogel is located in the middle of the trendy area De Pijp near the Heineken Experience and the Albert Cuyp market, surrounded by lots of fancy small shops.
Besides delicious tapas Pilsvogel is also well known for a good lunch and the famous chicken sate. The Pilsvogel is beautifully re-decorated, inspired by Gaudi. The fountain in the bathroom is worldwide known.
Pilsvogel has a beautiful luscious and green and heated terrace which is always crowded. On Friday- and Saturday night most of the time Pilsvogel turns into a hot sweaty little dance venue.

WELKOM
Het was een lange barre tocht geweest. Van hoog uit Het Andesgebergte, boven de boomgrens, had de vogel zijn ouderlijk huis verlaten op zoek vertier en avontuur.
Het was midden jaren `90 wanneer de vogel landde op het Gerard Douplein .
Het was einde middag, koud en guur. Zijn veren waren doorweekt en zijn hele lijf deed pijn. Gelukkig brandde er licht in het café op de hoek.
Hij ging naar binnen en een warme deken viel over hem heen. Hij laafde zich aan de toog en had lol voor tien, dronk en at zijn buikje vol en maakte tot diep in de nacht vrienden bij de vleet.
Hij wist het meteen: Dit was zijn nieuwe huis! Zijn familie zou hij nimmer terug zien. Hij had immers een nieuwe familie…
